Botanyx: The Garden Path

This privacy policy applies to the Botanyx: The Garden Path app (hereby referred to as the "Application") for mobile devices, created by Melodeon (hereby referred to as the "Service Provider") as a free service. The Application is a logic puzzle game set across seasonal gardens, in which one plant is placed in every row, column and bed. It is provided for use "AS IS".
The Application is designed to run offline: levels and your progress are stored on your device. It does, however, use integrated third-party services for advertising, analytics and player achievements, which collect certain information.
Through those third-party SDKs, information including your Android Advertising ID, device identifiers, general device and app information, and — if you are signed in to Google Play Games — your Play Games player identifier may be collected.
The Application uses Firebase Analytics to collect aggregated usage and event data (such as levels started and completed, or hints used). This data is processed by Google and is not used by the Service Provider to identify you personally.
Advertising is served through Google AdMob, which may collect device and advertising identifiers in order to select and measure ads.
The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data or provide features.
The Application integrates Google Play Games Services for automatic sign-in and achievements. When you are signed in, the achievements you unlock are recorded against your Google Play Games profile, and limited device and identity data is exchanged with Google to establish that sign-in.
The Application does not use Play Games cloud saves: your level progress, stars and settings are stored only on your device and are not synchronised across devices. You can manage or disconnect Play Games access at any time from the Google Play Games application's settings on your device.
The Application offers optional in-app purchases processed through Google Play Billing. Payment details are handled entirely by Google Play; the Service Provider never receives or stores your payment information.

The Service Provider shares data with third parties only through the official SDKs listed above, which are used to deliver advertisements, measure app usage, record achievements and process optional purchases. No other tracking tools or data-sharing arrangements are implemented, and the Service Provider does not sell your data.
Where required by law — in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — the Application shows a consent message on first launch using Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before any personalized advertising data is collected. You choose there whether advertising partners may use your data for personalized ads.
You can reopen that choice at any time from the Application's settings screen, where a privacy options entry is shown to users in the regions the consent form applies to. Outside those regions the entry is hidden because no consent form applies.
You can stop all use of the Application at any time by uninstalling it, using the standard uninstall process available on your device or through the app marketplace. Uninstalling removes all locally stored data described above.
You can limit ad personalization or reset your advertising identifier at any time from your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads), independently of the in-app consent choice above.
You can also disconnect or manage your Google Play Games account link from the Google Play Games application's settings menu.
The Service Provider does not operate its own servers and does not collect, store or transmit your data to any infrastructure under its own control. Your level progress, stars and settings remain on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the Application.
Achievements recorded through Google Play Games Services are held in your Google Play Games profile and are managed from your Google account, not by the Service Provider. Information processed by the other third-party services listed above is retained and deleted according to their own privacy policies.
The Application is a logic puzzle game suitable for a general audience. Because it displays advertising, its target audience is set to users aged 13 and older. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and it will be promptly addressed.
The Service Provider holds no personal data on its own infrastructure, so there is no such data at risk there. Locally stored progress remains under your own device's security controls. Data handled by Google Play Games Services and the other third-party services above is protected under their respective security practices.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify users of any changes by updating this page, and the effective date at the top will change accordingly. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
By using the Application, you consent to this Privacy Policy as amended from time to time.
